Hey, friend! I'm so glad you're here...
I’m Emma – a storytelling family, maternity & newborn photographer living in the southwest suburbs of Minneapolis, who loves love & all the little details that go along with it.
The grasp of a newborn’s tiny hand around your finger, sweeping the hair out of your little one’s face, embraces, soft kisses, whispers, giggles… the works.
So I’m sure you can imagine how much I treasure being able to preserve these visual representations of love for you in stunning images that will be adored & shared for generations on!

Get to Know Me
1. Home is where my heart is
I am a home-birthing, homeschooling momma to 3 wonderful daughters: Vienna, Harbor & Aspen. We make lots of messes, get plenty of sunshine, grow fruits & veggies in our backyard garden & love to snuggle up on the couch for family movie nights!
2. My life is a musical
I love to sing all the time about everything! I’m either using existing song lyrics that fit into my situation, or I’m making up my own words to a familiar tune to set the scene!
3. Small business runs in the family
We are a true entrepreneurial family here, as my husband, Kurt, also runs his own business! He is the owner & head trainer of a fitness facility in Eden Prairie.
4. I want to hold your haaaaaaand
There I go, singing again! But seriously, as an Enneagram 2w1 with a physical touch love language, I’m basically an emotional but rational, service-oriented perfectionist that just wants to take care of every little detail then give you a big hug!
5. Kinda crunchy, but also kinda not
- Three natural births
- Avoids artificial fragrances
- Collects drinking water from a local spring
However…
- Occasionally drinks McDonald’s Coke
- Uses L’Oreal waterproof mascara
- Applies DEET when braving tick infested areas

I am also an encourager & an appreciator of awe-inspiring things, like nature, light, wardrobe & moments.
