Experience

"I cannot say enough good things about our session with Emma. From the communication, to helping me coordinate outfits, to the actual session... she captured my family as we really are & I just love the results!" - Jenny H.

What it's like to work with me...

It’s a 4 step process that I aim to make as simple for you as possible!

1. Booking

We start with the contact form here on my site so you can give me some details on what type of session you’re looking to book.

From there you’ll get a link to my booking calendar where you can quickly & easily choose your date, sign your contract & pay your deposit – easy peasy!ย

After you’re booked you can expect to receive my session guide, which goes over how to prep & what to expect for our time together, as well as my styling inspiration boards & a questionnaire so I can get to know you better!

2. Planning

As our time together approaches I’ll reach out to discuss & start planning your wardrobe. Styling plays a huge roll in the overall look & feel of your images so this step is key. I know it can be overwhelming but trust me, I am here to help you all the way through!

I have a virtual styling tool we will use to coordinate everyone, as well as a growing collection of items in my client closet that can be borrowed at no extra cost!

We’ll then talk about location ideas so, together with your curated outfits, we can create a beautiful & cohesive setting for your images.

3. Session

On session day all you need to do is show up & enjoy your time! Presence & connection will be our priority while I guide & direct for natural movement & interaction so your images authentically reflect this unique time of your life.

Let all the nerves & pressure for perfection slip away… you’re in good hands!

4. Delivery

After I’ve had the time needed to hand-edit all of your precious memories comes everyone’s favorite part – gallery delivery!

I’ll email you a link to a personalized slideshow of your images set to music that I HIGHLY recommend you watch as your first viewing experience – it ensures you give each image it’s own time of observance before moving on to the next. Plus, it’s like watching a movie replay of your session (just the best parts, I promise!) so you can feel all the feels all over again!
