Newborn Session Experience
As a momma to 3 little girls myself, I truly appreciate the preciousness of the newborn stage & the importance of capturing every detail possible, as they change with each blink of your eye.
I offer both studio & in-home sessions to help preserve this fleeting season in a way that feels right for your family. I’ll come alongside you to create beautiful artwork of your growing family, all while keeping the process as simple & enjoyable for you as can be.
I always suggest reserving your newborn session before baby arrives, when possible. It helps ensure space in my calendar and gives us more time to plan.
If your little one has already made their debut, please don’t hesitate to reach out anyway! I’ll always do my best to accommodate whenever I can.
The best next step is simply to get in touch. We’ll chat about your due date (or baby’s arrival!), discuss availability, and find the best fit for your family.
As our time together approaches, I’ll reach out so we can begin chatting about wardrobe. Styling plays a huge role in the overall look & feel of your images, so this step is key — but don’t worry, I’ll be there to help every step of the way! We’ll use a virtual styling tool to coordinate everyone’s look & you’ll have access to my ever-growing client closet at no extra cost.
I’ve also curated a beautiful assortment of wraps, blankets, headbands, hats, bonnets & props for baby’s solo images, all of which are available for both in-home & studio sessions — so you don’t need to worry about providing a thing.
On session day, all you need to do is get everyone dressed & ready to enjoy our time together — whether we’re in the comfort of your home or at the natural-light studio. Newborn sessions typically last around 2 hours, giving us the time & slower pace needed to create a full gallery of storytelling images filled with variety, real moments & all the tiny details you never want to forget.
I’ll care for your baby with gentleness & intention as I wrap & position them for their individual portraits, always moving at a pace that honors their needs. My patience is endless when it comes to little ones, so you can fully relax & trust that we’ll capture the images your heart is hoping for.
After I’ve had the time needed to hand-edit all of your precious memories comes everyone’s favorite part – gallery delivery! This process can take 4-6 weeks as my editing method is very detailed & all-inclusive. I’ll email you a link to a personalized slideshow of your images set to music that I HIGHLY recommend you watch as your first viewing experience – it ensures you enjoy each & every image! Plus, it’s like watching a movie replay of your session (just the best parts, I promise!) so you can feel all the feels all over again!

Newborn Session Pricing
Whether we’re photographing your newborn in the comfort of your home or in the natural-light studio, we’ll create a relaxed, meaningful environment that allows you to slow down & savor these early days. My focus is on documenting your connection as a family & the love that fills the room—wherever we’re gathered. I also make it a priority to photograph your newborn on their own, so you can remember every wrinkle & roll, each lash & dimple. Sessions typically take place when baby is 5–14 days old, but can be done up to 8 weeks if needed.

- Styling assistance & resources
- Use of items in the Client Closet with an optional 30min try-on appointment
- Professional & detailed editing of your images, each done in color as well as black & white
- Delivery of all edited, high-resolution digital images via private online viewing gallery within 4-6 weeks
- A $100 print credit & access to a professional print lab offering high quality prints & products directly from your gallery
- Granted print release allowing you to print your images endlessly
Discounted Maternity + Newborn and Newborn + Milestone bundles available. Session fees include a non-returnable retainer due at the time of booking. Travel fees will apply for any session location over 50mi from 55379.
